Wondering if I should go for glory and just stay up until I finish…?
It wouldn’t take much longer to do the background/etc, I was painting pretty much all day (started after making that last post, actually), I stopped to screencap when Craig Ferguson started and because this seemed like an appropriate point to get a WIP shot before I do background/final touchups.
I wonder if I should stick a bleeding Crimson Cross on Lord Numair’s forehead? o_o;
…bah, I’ll do it tomorrow… er, later today. You get the idea.
also LOL @ mother, who saw this when she brought up dinner and thought Lord Numair was one of Robert’s WoW characters. XD; Bro doesn’t have any redheads, for one thing. He’s got a Death Knight (and Lord Numair’s Death Maximillian looks like something a Death Knight would wear) but dood is most definitely NOT a dragon.

Aural Condiments
Friday, February 26th, 2010Loyal minion-doods, GIFs and macros are no longer enough to act as our “condiments of daily internet living.” Inspired partially by NSFW, here are some youtubes and such that should provide some much-needed aural spice that could, used properly, convey the appropriate assessment of the win or fail (…mostly fail, as it may seem here).
Instant Rimshot, for those “ZING!” moments. You, too, can get your inner late-night host on. Press the big red button, receive BA-DUM-TISH!
Instant Crickets, for when someone says something really un-funny (but not offensive). Again, press the big green button, and receive crickets.

Next up is the Fail Horn, hailing from the Price is Right, but we of the internets have coopted it as the sound of EPIC FAILURE. (YouTube sauce!) Sadly I have yet to see an iPhone or other cell phone-friendly equivalent of this. :(
Dramatic Look is another favorite, and has widely circulated the internets (and has even made some appearances on TV). Nice for those “OMFG!” moments.
And finally, my personal favorite, BOO THIS MAN! I heard it on NSFW and just HAD to find it and once again, YouTube delivers. Even now I crack up every time I watch this. IDEAL for those moments that just demand that the source of such failure GTFO. It is available in GIF form but you NEED the sound for maximum effect.
Tell me, internets, what are your favorite sound bites meant to express epic win, epic fail, GTFO or what have you? :D
and yes, I am totally stalling on coloring that ramen. Or not. Nothing really on TV, and I don’t think my brother is awake yet for me to go bother him in WoW (not that he considers it “bother” but it just sounds fun to say. BOTHER BOTHER BOTHER) so, just… I dunno. DOOD.
(WIP) Schema Lapse

I was just going to post the most recent WIP, but I figured I’d throw both of today’s, thus completing the line art.
I tried to keep the middle/wide shot as close as possible to the rear detail, but that didn’t quite work. (Simply shrinking the details, repositioning and finishing them wouldn’t have looked very good…) Just assume a few seconds pass between the two views to account for the slight differences in positioning.
Also yes, Lord Numair gets a new Maximillian, the “Death” spec that is formed when he’s bound with Lord of Death.
So, that bumps the count up to five:
– Ralse: “Dark Rose”
– Lord Numair: “Crimson” (Episode 0) and “Death” (Episode 2)
– Hikaru: “Azure”
…and then the one Lord of Death’s projection wears, which is the Maximillian in its base/inert form.
Coloring this new Maximillian is going to be fun~ :D
It’ll be all icky and bloody in the general color scheme, but it won’t actually BE bloody… oh, just wait until it’s done!
Of course, coloring Hikaru’s Maximillian is always a trip. Shiny blue metal, laa~ ♥
But, for now, I need a break.
