Related serious-but-also-stupid question:

Do you guys like these WIP posts? I’ve been noticing as of late that they tend to get WAY more comment attention than finished pieces. Are these WIPs kinda spoiler-y for the final graphical punchline, or do you like seeing how the sausa– …ramen’s made? Or am I just reading too far into things and people are just so busy that they can’t be arsed to say anything? :P

Really, I’m not trying to be an attention-seeker, I’m just curious in light of recent commenting trends for Instant Ramen posts.

Poor Deeum. Can’t a dragon eat her munchies in peace? Sheesh. :(

Logged out of WoW around 6am, was about to go to bed but then the froth in the beer pitcher was bothering me for being off-angle… and tweaking turns to me full-on painting up through, what, 9am?

I could have just held until I put the background and ambient lighting effects but…. no. Sleep. NOW. o_o;

This was actually from early Tuesday morning. Partially-colored bar scene!

Fun fact: the drinks (except for the chocolate milkshake that hasn’t been colored yet) are on a separate color layer set to Hard Light. That was the closest I could get to replicating the transparency of beer/soda. As for the glasses themselves… recall that in previous bar scenes I would tint them blue-ish, but now I’m not even bothering with that and just putting in a mild highlight to see if that works. :P

I’m actually doing stuff this week! Need to go to Pomona to break my coin block out on Wednesday, since my Magic Coin Block is almost dry. Car registration payment bopped me on the head, but thankfully it’s not as big as I thought. Still, can’t wait to reload the coin stash anymore. I don’t really care about the penalty– if I lose some of the interest, big deal. It wasn’t pulling up a whole lot anyway because of boo rates.

(Also? This will enable me to finally get my HD capture box… been putting it off for quite awhile. >_>;)
