What began as commentary on how much of a pain in the ass it would be to construct Hikaru’s Maximillian (her final body armor in Ragnarok TWILIGHT) led to a junk scribble in which I isolated each piece. The boots (the Sky Greaves) and hat (Majestic Goat) are omitted because they are considered separate items in the db.

No, no Snowscheme #1 yet… the tree is being a doodoohead since I have to drybrush it and then add lights and ornaments and ohgod this is why I paint Christmas trees very sparingly. HOPEFULLY future Snowschemes in this year’s series won’t prove to be so time-consuming, I’d like to be able to whip two out a week.
In the meantime, since I knew some people would like something to look at (and it was more feasible to stop and do a color sketch than attempt to finish #1), have some Christmas-modded Yoshi:
Taking a page from Pai, Yoshi’s eartails are tied up so as to not obscure the ribbon. Plus, her eartails combined with the insane fuzziness of that outfit… man, it’d be itchy as hell.
It was either port over Planet’s Burden or make a Christmas-themed weapon… I took an unusual third path. This “Celestiaring” isn’t QUITE holiday-looking, but to a degree it could be relevant. In the end, it just looks damned cute and like something Yoshi would use. I’d tried a Mistletoe mod of Planet’s Burden but it just didn’t look right.
Yes, Celestiaring = Lunaring + Stellaring, both Poring-series that I made up on the spot >_>;;

I’ve the first Snowscheme (the human totem pole, as suggested by ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small}
dmscv) sketched and ready to ink… but I felt the need to interrupt long enough to plan out some of the updated Christmas modifications to some of the character outfits. Right now, of characters who have appeared in a Snowscheme before, Haruko, Numair and Chelsea are getting either heavily-modified or new outfits outright. Haruko’s getting a longer Santa-themed cocktail dress, Numair’s getting a brown Sneaking Suit (with some fuzzy effects), and Chelsea, well… just see for yourself:
Yeah, it’s a Christmas mod of her original Tales of Destiny outfit. (It’s not unreasonable to think that she brought it with her, just as Haruko had brought her old FLCL gear along.)
This was a speed-paintjob, so the coloring and such is a bit rough (and she’s standing on her toes if you’re wondering why her feet look a bit small)… but it’s enough to give an idea as to what she’ll be packing this time. Obviously in full Snowschemes the quality will be MUCH better.
I’ll be posting later with the Christmas mods for Numair, Haruko and Hikaru (her Mistletoe Maximillian gets a couple of minor tweaks too), but for reasons of cute, I was compelled to do Chelsea first. :P
